School Leaders Led a Team to Visit Xi'an Aiju Group for Inspection and Negotiation

    In order to implement the internationalization strategy of our university and accelerate the pace of building a world-class university, Vice President Luo Jun led the relevant principals and experts of International Cooperation and Exchange Office, College of Agriculture and Youth League Committee to Xi’an Aiju Grain and Oil Industry Group Co., Ltd to investigate and discuss to further enhance the level of cooperation.

        In order to promote the construction of Kokesheto Agricultural Demonstration Park of our university in Kazakhstan, Mr. Luo Jun and his entourage visited the grain and oil production lines, grain and oil warehouses and chrysanthemum gardens of Aiju Group. In the discussion meeting, Chairman Jia Heyi introduced the basic situation and long-term development plan of Aiju Group in detail, and put forward optimization suggestions for the cooperation between Aiju Group and our school.

        The two sides had in-depth exchanges on the construction of the Kokeshe Agricultural Science and Technology Demonstration Park in Kazakhstan and the practice base for international talent cultivation and reached consensus on the further cooperation in terms of clear positioning, complementary advantages, highlighting key points and serving the country. In the future, the two parties will make joint efforts to carry out multi-field and multi-level cooperation and strive to create a new paradigm of school-enterprise cooperation.

       Xi’an Aiju Grain and Oil Industry Group Co., Ltd. was founded in 1934, and has developed into a comprehensive grain and oil group integrating production, storage and marketing of grain and oil, cooked food and bean products processing. In 2017, the university officially signed the university-enterprise cooperation agreement with Aiju Group, and cooperated in the construction of Kirkshetao Agricultural Science and Technology Demonstration Park in Kazakhstan. In September 2018, NWAFU and Aiju Group established the “Overseas Talent Training Base of the Silk Road Agricultural Education Science and Technology Innovation Alliance” and the “Science and Technology Innovation Base of Grain and Oil Industry (Northern Kazakhstan)” in Kazakhstan. In March 2019, NWAFU and Aiju Group signed the cooperation agreement on the breeding, production and processing of grain and oil crops. In 2020, Kirkshetao Agricultural Science and Technology Demonstration Park completed 3,000 acres of wheat, rape, sunflower and flax trial demonstrations, achieving remarkable results.
