To ensure overseas agricultural science and technology demonstration parks works are well implemented

       To further improve the implementation of the work plan of the Overseas Agricultural Science and Technology Demonstration Park in 2021, Vice President Luo Jun presided over a special meeting on the work of Overseas Agricultural Science and Technology Demonstration Park on March 5. Leaders of the International Cooperation and Exchange Office and chief experts of overseas agricultural science and technology demonstration parks attended the meeting.

       Chief experts of overseas agricultural science and technology demonstration parks reported on the implementation of this year's work plan, and discussed in depth how to build an influential overseas agricultural science and technology demonstration park in the "14th Five-Year" period. After carefully listening to the speeches of the chief experts of various overseas agricultural science and technology demonstration parks, Luo Jun put forward six requirements for further building comprehensive agricultural science and technology demonstration parks. First one is to create distinctive overseas agricultural science and technology demonstration parks and highlight the distinctive work of oversea parks, the cooperation model, and explore the replicable "NWAFU Model". The second is to strengthen university-enterprise cooperation, deepen the integration of industry and education, reduce the impact of changes in the international situation on the construction of demonstration parks. The third is to clarify that scientific research and personnel training are the key works of the demonstration park construction, and give play to the supporting role of the "Silk Road International Agricultural Talent" project. The fourth is to do a solid job in the budget this year, so as to increase revenue and reduce expenditure. Fifth is to focus on efficient coordination within each demonstration park, give full play to the subjective initiative of the chief experts, and ensure the continuous research of teachers and students in the park. The sixth is to link the evaluation of demonstration parks with the reform of education evaluation, and to promote the construction of overseas demonstration parks with the goal-oriented approach.
