Made in China &Assembled in Russia: Chinese Company Helps Russia Upgrad Public Transport

　　According to the Russian media, Chivelev, the governor of Kemerovo state, said in an interview during the Eastern Economic Forum that Yutong co,. Ltd will set up a joint venture to assemble buses in Kemerovo state.

　　According to the report by the Sputnik News Agency of Russia on September 11^th, Chivelev said that the Kemerovo delegation visited China this summer and held talks with representatives of many Chinese companies. Various problems were studied, including the development of automobile manufacturing, modern coal mining system and equipment production of concentrating mill in Kemerovo.

　　"We have started joint projects with a Chinese company," he said: “The partner is Yutong co,. Ltd, a Chinese bus manufacturer. They have already selected an area within the territory of Leninsk-Kuznetsky and have gone through the relevant formalities. The first buses can be assembled in Kuzbass region this year.We are also interested in this, because we have serious problems with public transport, so we plan to upgrade quickly and use modern buses."

　　He added, "we purchased the first 25 buses a week ago.These are the passenger cars that made in China and assembled in Kuzbass. I think they will be succeed in competing with buses in other parts of Russia. We will see how this will go."
