Modern Agriculture Demonstration Park of NWAFU Inaugurated in Kyrgyzstan

　　On September 8^th, “Sino-Kyrgyzstan Modern Agriculture Demonstration Park”,which is jointly constructed by our school, Kyrgyzstan Pastoral Husbandry co., Ltd and Yangling Leda Biotechnology co., Ltd., was officially inaugurated in Moscow district,Chuy Province,Kyrgyzstan. Li Xingwang, the secretary of NWAFU party committee, has attended the opening ceremony and made a speech.

　　The opening ceremony was hosted by Kallis, Director of the Agriculture Office of Moscow District. Secretary Li Xingwang ,together with Bayaembit, Director of the National Project Office of Kyrgyzstan, and Kubat, Director of the Bureau of Plantation,Inspection and Quarantine, unveiled the plaque for the demonstration garden. Li Xingwang said that the establishment of the “Sino-Kyrgyzstan Modern Agriculture Demonstration Garden” is the implementation of the joint initiative of two heads of state and aims to promote the agricultural development of the Silk Road Economic Belt, and to built a community of shared future for mankind ,which will benefit the people from both countries. At the same time, he also asked for the function improvement and development of new achievements display, scientific research and talent training in the demonstration garden.

　　Checking the growing of the new apple variety  on the spot

　　“Sino-Kyrgyzstan Modern Agriculture Demonstration Garden” is a key project of agricultural science and technology education in “One Belt And One Road”of our school. It is located in the Moscow district of Chuy Province, which is the suburb of Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan. And it has received strong support from the Ministry of Agriculture from both sides and the local government. In 2018, the first phase of the demonstration garden covers an area of 10 hectares, which respectively shows 7 new and excellent apple varieties introduced by our school, 1 apple dwarf anvil planting and highly efficient cultivation model, and 42 new maize varieties provided by the member units of Silk Road Agricultural Education and Science and Technology Innovation Alliance. Under the scientific planning and meticulous management of the three parties, the demonstration crops performed well, and have been highly concerned and unanimously recognized by the local government, agricultural enterprises and the surrounding farmers.

　　During his visit in Kyrgyzstan, Li Xingwang and the delegation also visited the National Agricultural University of Kyrgyzstan and the Ministry of Agriculture of Kyrgyzstan. At the National Agricultural University of Kyrgyzstan, Li Xingwang and the delegation has carried on the discussion with Vice President Kuzgrov and experts of related fields. The two sides have reached a number of cooperative intentions on sending overseas students, introduction of new apple varieties and joint research on cultivation technology of apple, animal husbandry and processing technology of dairy products, so does the introduction and cultivation of wheat varieties. At the Ministry of Agriculture of Kyrgyzstan, Li Xingwang held talks with First Deputy Minister Karim Aliyev, conducted in-depth exchanges in agricultural science, technology and education cooperation, and reached a preliminary intention to push China and Kyrgyzstan to further expand the fields of cooperation and raise the level of cooperation.

　　According to the plan,Li also led the delegation to visit colleges and universities in Kazakhstan and Tajikistan.
