The Second Corporate Training of Grain&Oil Enterprises Held at NWAFU

　　On March 5th, the second training course on international investment and trade of grain and oil enterprises was held by Silk Road Agricultural Education and Research Innovation Alliance. Li Xingwang, secretary of the Party Committee of the school, attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech.

　　After more than two years of operation, Silkroad Agricultural Education and Research Innovation Alliance led by NWAFU has reached 76 member units, including universities, scientific research institutions and enterprises from 14 countries. The alliance has achieved remarkable results recently. The school work conference just held in 2019 proposed to push forward the construction of the Silk Road alliance and continue to strengthen cooperation with the enterprises, which will be of great benefits of the development the Belt and the Road. Li put forward the ardent hope to share advanced management concepts and methods, strengthen cooperation between schools and enterprises, and promote win-win development of both sides.

　　The course lasted five days involving more than 80 participants, including the relevant national policies of agricultural enterprises, the practice of international grain and oil cooperation in Kazakhstan, the interpretation of international trade and policy between China and Kazakhstan, the discussion of international cooperation mechanism of grain and oil enterprises, the trade of agricultural products in Kyrgyzstan etc, which was delivered by Ouyang Shachen, Vice-Director of International Cooperation Section Law of Ministry of Agriculture, Jia Heyi, Chairman of Xi'an Aiju Group, Assabai, Director of Animal and Plant Inspection and Quarantine Department of Ministry of Agriculture of Kyrgyzstan, and many experts and professors with rich experience in international cooperation of NWAFU.

　　The first training course was held in early March last year. More and more enterprises are going abroad with the support of NWAFU. Among them, the first batch of grain and oil enterprises of Xi'an Aiju Group have built the largest agricultural product processing park in Kazakhstan in North Kazakhstan, unveiled the "Grain and Oil Industry (North Kazakhstan) Science and Technology Innovation Base" jointly established with our university, and accomplished the first full-load cargo return trip of "China-Europe Freight Line". In 2019, the total amount of imported grain, oil and other goods is expected to exceed 500,000 tons. At the opening ceremony, the school signed a cooperation agreement with Xi'an Aiju Group on the selection, production and processing of varieties of grain and oil crops. The head of the Secretariat of the Silk Road Alliance said that in the new year, the Alliance will mainly focus on the promotion of science and technology, the construction of think tank, the exchange of cultures, as well as the implementation of the internationalization of schools.
