Experts visited Russian universities for Investigation and Exchange

Recently, at the invitation of the Sino-Russian Agricultural Science and Technology Innovation Alliance, Professor Yu Jin, Director of the International Cooperation Division, Professor Wei Feng from the College of Agricultural Economic Management, Professor Feng Baili from the Agriculture College, etc. went to the National Agricultural University of Omsk, Stavropol, National Agricultural University, Russia to study and exchange.

At Omsk State Agricultural University, President Oksana, Vice-President Yuri Ivanovich Novikov met with the delegation and discussed the joint project application, talent exchange and training, undergraduate summer camp, etc. Accompanied by Prof. Nina from the Foreign Affairs Office, the delegation inspected the stallion, dairy farm, experimental farm and grain depot in the Mariakovsky region of the Omsk agricultural enterprise, and visited the teaching and testing building, library and pilot farm of the Omsk State Agricultural University. They held symposiums with professional teachers such as agronomy and agricultural economic management to exchange research interest and determine the fields and directions for possible joint research in the future.

Accompanied by Dr. Ekaterina, the delegation visited various conference rooms, teaching and reception facilities of the university, held talks with the first vice president, Ivan Anthony and  discussed the details of the preparations for the alliance meeting. Ivan Anthony said that the Stavropol National Agricultural University will arrange a special person to be responsible for the alliance meeting, fully support and cooperate with the Northwest A&F University, and run the China-Russia Agricultural Science and Technology Innovation Alliance Conference, and use this as an opportunity to promote communication in scientific research, humanities cooperation and exchanges.

Director Yu Jin expressed his gratitude to the National Agricultural University of Stavropol for his support and appreciated the scientific research strength, university conditions and facilities of Stavropol National Agricultural University, and congratulated its progress and achievements.
