Hu Heping, secretary of the Shaan xi provincial party committee,visited NWAFU for Shanghai cooperation organization (SCO) Survey

On June 14, general secretary Xi Jinping delivered an important speech at the 19th meeting of the council of heads of state of the Shanghai cooperation organization (SCO) member states. He proposed to set up a demonstration base for agricultural technology exchange and training in shaanxi province. Hu Heping, secretary of the Shaan xi provincial party committee, came to the university for a research on implementing the speech of general secretary Xi Jinping. Vice governor Wei Zengjun investigated together.

In Agricultural Research Institute of Water-Saving in Dry Areas, Hu visited the cooperation achievements exhibition betwwen our school and the countries along the silk road and the SCO. He highly spoke of the work carried out by the Silkroad Agricultural Education and Research Innovation Alliance, and fully affirming our school's innovative cooperation and exchange with countries along the silk road and the construction of overseas demonstration areas. Hu encouraged our university to make persistent efforts and do better. Hu heping listened to the report on the preparation of the future agricultural research institute of our university. He said that the university should work with the demonstration areas to build the future agricultural research institute, give full play to the role of the future agricultural research institute, and do a good job in the study of key commonalities of agriculture in countries along the silk road. He hope our university can follow the Xi jinping thought on socialism with Chinese characteristics for a new era, earnestly implement Xi’s important speech. Under the support and guidance  of provincial government, our university should insist on the principle of " taking root in yangling, integrating the demonsation district and university and open development ", integration of resources and innovation mechanism to promote the exchanges and cooperation with SCO member states.
