Poznan University of Life Sciences is an institution of higher learning founded in 1870 and the second public university in Poland in the field of agriculture. The forum was hosted by the secretariat of the Silk Road Agricultural Education Science and Technology Innovation Alliance and hosted by the University of Life Sciences in Poznan, Poland. The president of Northwest A&F University, Wu Pute, Secretary-General of the Silk Road Agricultural Education Science and Technology Innovation Alliance, led a delegation to the forum. In 2016, in response to the National Belt and Road initiative, Northwest A&F University launched and established the Silk Road Agricultural Education Science and Technology Innovation Alliance in Yang Ling, China. The Union has held three cooperation forums on Agricultural Education Science and technology in China, Yang Ling, Kazakhstan and Serbia. It also established four sub-alliances, namely, the China-Russia Agricultural Education Science and Technology Innovation Alliance, the Silk Road Wine Science and Technology Innovation Alliance, the Silk Road Biological Health Agricultural Industry Alliance, and the Silk Road multi-functional circular agriculture and biological resources circular science and Technology Innovation Alliance In the countries along the Silk Road.
The League has been fruitful since it was founded. The Secretariat of the Union has established four demonstration parks of modern agricultural science and technology in Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan, staffed by scientific and educational personnel, to demonstrate the cultivation of 115 varieties of crops from 13 major categories in the country To Guide the agricultural development of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and other neighboring countries. At present, the Silk Road Agricultural Education Science and Technology Innovation Alliance has become one of the most influential Belt and Road alliances, which is led by universities in China and has greatly enhanced the international reputation of our university. So far, 85 units from 17 countries have joined the alliance. It is reported that the next Silk Road 2020 Agricultural Education Science and Technology Cooperation Forum and Union Council will be held in Yang Ling, China.
